Nursery rhymes have great value for children’s early literacy - introducing rhyme, rhythm and chanting. The rhymes are funny little stories, and their often famous music (for instance ‘Twinkle, twinkle’) are an important part of the heritage of the English language. This module features twelve of the most famous rhymes, sung aloud, with music. Each rhyme is shown onscreen - with the text clearly visible - and as the rhyme is played, a cute animation plays to accompany it.
